The Label of toys should comply with the requirements of GB 5296.5 and GB 6675.In GB 5296.5, there has provisions about principle, content and requirements. The toy s subject to China Compulsory Certification (CCC) must be certified by CCC, as well as attach CCC mark.
The standards about the toy labels conclude:
l GB 5296.1-1997 Instructions for use of products of consumer interest--General principles;
l GB 5296.5-2006 Instructions for use for products of consumer interest—Part 5:Toys;
l GB 6675-2003 National safety technical code for toys;
l GB 19865-2005 Electric toys—Safety
l GB 14746-2006 Safety requirements for bicycles for young children
l GB 14747-2006 Safety requirements for child tricycles;
l GB 14748-2006 Safety requirements for wheeled child conveyances;
l GB 14749-2006 Safety requirements for baby walking frames.
According to GB 5296.5-2006, the label should have:
l common name;
l product model and size;
l number of standards;
l age groups;
l warn label;
l name and content of materials(for plush toy);
l method of application;
l maintenance ;
l date in Produced, validity date;
l name and principal place of business of the manufacturer and distributors.
