Wireless LAN products

All produces in the list of CCC should get the certificate before get in to the China market. The Certification basis of wireless LAN products is ‘CNCA—11C—048:2001 Implementation rules for compulsory certification of wireless LAN products t’.
This implementation rules provides the Scope, certification model, major process of certification, general requirements of certification, certificate and Regulation on the use of the mark. WLAN is defined here as those computer networks which use wireless communication technology instead of cables to provide wired LAN functions, which in operation in local areas (including directional ranges of distance point-to-point or point-to-multipoint, etc.), the common operating frequency is 2.4GHz, 5.8GHz, etc.
Testing standards, items of CCC certification for telecommunications terminal equipment are as follows:
1. Testing standards and items which are applicable for independent WLAN devices:
l Testing standards and items for electrical safety: All appropriate items specified in GB4943.
l Testing standards and items for EMC: Following 3 items specified in GB9254 and GB17625.1, Conducted disturbance voltage of power terminal, radiated disturbance field, harmonic current.
l Testing standards and items for WAPI and equipment interconnection: All appropriate items specified in GB15629.11, GB15629.11/XG1, GB15629.1101, GB15629.1102, and GB15629. 1104. Take any 2 pieces (sets) products of submitted 3 pieces (sets) ones.
2. Testing standards and items for products integrated or built-in WLAN devices:
l Products which are included in compulsory certification product catalogue: a. Testing standards and items for WAPI and equipment interconnection: All appropriate items specified in GB15629.11, GB15629.11/XG1, GB15629.1101, GB15629.1102, and GB15629.1104. Take any 2 pieces (sets) products of submitted 3 pieces (sets) ones. b. Testing standards and items specified in other implementation rules for compulsory certification. For Audio & Video products, they shall meet testing standards and items specified in rules No. CNCA—01C—017.
l Products which are not included in compulsory certification product catalogue (i.e. digital camera, etc.): All appropriate items specified in GB15629.11, GB15629.11/XG1, GB15629.1101, GB15629.1102, and GB15629.1104. Take any 2 pieces (sets) products of submitted 3 pieces (sets) ones.
3. Software products with WAPI functions:
l All appropriate items specified in GB15629.11, GB15629.11/XG1 and sub items (one or more items in GB15629.1101, GB15629.1102, GB15629.1104). Take any 1 set software of submitted 2 sets ones.
Definition of application unit for wireless LAN products of Compulsory Product Certification, List of critical parts, Testing standards and sample quantities see in the annex.
If the wireless LAN products passed CCC Certification, applied China Compulsory Certification mark and Net-Access License mark, it will identify the product meet the requirements of both China Compulsory Product Certification System and Net-Access License.
Products with this mark be applied legally mean this products meet national regulations and requirements for compulsory product certification relating information safety and electrical safety (if applicable)/EMC (if applicable). This mark shall be applied on the products if those products meet national regulations and requirements for compulsory product certification relating information safety and electrical safety/EMC, while other compulsory certification marks,CCCS or CCCS&E marks shall not be applied on those products.
